Hi, I didn't see a thread for this, but I've noticed that most of this board is about the Marvel/DC comics (and of course, cartoons), so thought I'd ask if anyone on here collects any British comics.

I have a large collection of Beano and Dandy comics, plus a few Buster, Whizzer & Chips, Beezer, Topper and others. I have a collection of these annuals which is somewhere around 350 at the moment. Needless to say, I do not have a lot of space! I have three full bookcases and lots of boxes full too. I'm also a fan of the Asterix books and have quite a lot of these too.

How is Asterix? I haven't had a chance to read it yet.

It has some great humour. I would definitely recommend it. Just some of the names of the characters have me laughing at times. The stories are well done. I would suggest either buying a couple of books second hand (ebay, charity shops etc.) or getting them from a library if you have one nearby.
I've just realised that technically, Asterix wouldn't fit in this thread, as it is a French series, but just got a bit carried away talking about my collection lol.

I collect a lot of British comics (though mainly just annuals now, due to lack of space). The majority of my collection is made up of the DC Thomson comics (Beano, Dandy, Beezer etc). I also have quite a few of the Fleetway comics (Buster, Whizzer & Chips etc). I occasionally will buy others if I see something which I like, but as I said, space is a problem!
Other than comics, I also have some childrens books. I have all the Secret Seven books and a large collection of Goosebumps (a childrens horror series).

OK. Hopefully I'll be able to find some of those. I've read some of Goosebumps. Have you seen the TV show?

Yeah, I used to watch it when I was younger. Loved it, but not seen it in so long.

Oh. It still airs in the U.S., but unsure about other countries.
