I wanted to create a thread for all of the fans of Fullmetal Alchemist. You can post any topics, questions, or comments about the show and its characters.

If you don't know about the show here is a summary that I found at Fullmetal Alchemist World

Plot: Alchemy, the science of transforming matter from one form to another. Edward and Alphonse Elric thought they had learend enough to bring there mother back from death. But the laws of nature demand a heavy price.

During the human transmutation Alphonse Elric lost his body and Edward his leg. But Edward sacrificed his arm to bind Alphonse's soul to an armor suit. And now they are looking for the legendary Philosopher's Stone so that they can restore there bodies. But they are not alone.

I've been downloading it from the net. I love, love them! It's actually kinda different from the manga, since they don't start out as National Alchemists right away, or Ed, at least. But still great!

It's got the same stories, basically, but told in a different way. And major timeline differences. And it's amazing how both are good in themselves. You can be a fan of both the manga and the anime and for entirely different reasons.

1) I'm stuck in my home province right now. 2) We don't have Animax. But we get all the ads for it on AXN. Which is heartbreaking.

I've only seen a few episodes, but what I saw I liked. I'm waiting to eventually see them from the begining.

Yeah, watch it from beginning to end, so that the story line falls into place better because sometimes the plot can take a wicked turn. Oh and don't forget the movie that's coming out in September.

Does anyone have a thing for reading Roy x Ed fics? I know it's so not cannon but I absolutely love them! It's the only type of romance I'll read for FMA fanfiction because it was never really a focus for the series. Well love is but certainly not romance...
