Garfield & Friends Appreciation Thread

Hi all! Since the movie Garfield is now playing in theatres, I thought we could start a thread on this loveable cartoon! I loved Odie. He was so cute!

I was obsessed with Garfield as a kid. I like the computer animation of Garfield, I wonder what the Odie animation would look like, I am not sure if they could find a yellow dog who's always happy.

Re: Garfield & Friends Appreciation Thread

I love Garfield! He's so cool. He isn't a morning person and hates Monday's. LOL. I even had a Garfield & Odie lunch kit in elementary(5th grade), I still have it, it's fourteen years old now though.
Odie was cool, but to me, Garfield was cooler.

I always enjoyed Pooky. I thought he was the cutest Teddy ever. . and the fact that he made Garfield happy all the time was too cute. But Garfield is my fave. His monotone deliveries were too classic

I loved Nermal the cat. I always thought it was so funny that Garfield sent him away to Abu Dahbi. Once I did this report on the United Arab Emirates because the capital was Abu Dahbi and I wanted to include the tidbit about Garfield and Nermal.

I remember Nermal! Wasn't that his cousin or something?

Did anyone see the movie yet?

Nermal was great How he annoyed Garfield by being so perfect was hysterical...

They were all so unique and came together so perfectly. And in the end, you know that Garfield loves each and every one of them,,he's just pretty prickly and won't admit it

In the Christmas Show, when he says "It's not the getting, it's not the giving, it's the loving" I got the sniffles

I've always loved Garfield & Friends. So much so, that I refuse to pick any favorites at the moment.

I especially loved the holiday episodes. I remember always looking forward to them as a kid.

Puddle. I really liked the Halloween special. Garfield saying "Candy candy candy..." is how I feel

I loved garfield and always watching the cartoon in the afternoons everyday. I liked how he was obsesed with eating lasagna and kicking odie off the furniture . I remember the bonus show they used to do in between with the farm animals called U.S. acres i thought it was alright, wade the duck was so annoying though.

Wasn't the friends part with some crazy barn animals? Or am I thinking of another show? I thought it was Garfield & Friends but I could be wrong. It's been a long time....

I love the fact that Garfield hates spiders, so do I

Wasn't the farmyard show something to do with some of Jon's strange relatives?
