Who would you have play your favorite character?

Before X3 went into casting, and we heard that Kitty Pryde would be in the movie...I imagined her as this:

Whenever I pictured a live action Kitty, I pictured Emily Van Camp. She looks the part, and the character she plays on Everwood has a similar personality. I thought she was perfect. The right age, beautiful without being flashy, intelligent, you get the idea. I thought she personified everything Kitty is.

This isn't a slam against Ellen Page (or any other actress up for the part). But I was disappointed b/c I wanted Emily so badly.

Since we all have different ideas, I'd like to hear about them.

Although this is probably just an excuse to post pic of our favorite actors.

And I promise I won't complain about anyone's choices. I'll do that for TPTB only.

Shawn Reaves as Gambit

but the accent would be a major problem

Drew Fuller as Multiple Man

Hudson Leick as White Queen

Okay, I'm done... for now.

I think EVC would have made a great Kitty Pryde, although Ellen Page did a great job. I've actually thought about this before, but my mind has gone completely blank. I'll come back when I can think of some.

Kitty was a little too blah for me. Not Ellen's fault though. Plus, she looked way too young to be with Piotr. So that was my biggest problem.

Ashley, never heard of either of those guys. The second one does look like Jamie. I still like Multiple McSteamy anyways.

I can't think of any right now either, though usually I have lots of ideas in that area.

I agree. She was too young.

Drew is known for being on "Charmed"
Shawn is known for being on "Tru Calling"

I think that is Tru's brother. It looks like him anyway.

Yea. He did wonderful. And he was very funny. He would make wonderful jokes as Gambit, and he could play the attitude perfectly. The only problem is the accent.

His character in Tru Calling, Harrison, had an attitude like Gambit's.

And Drew could play the "bad guy", and at the same time, a likeable bad guy.

I'll ask Hudson if she knows anything about the X-Men franchise. If so, then I'll recommend White Queen

I'm not sure who I see as Gambit. Josh Holloway has been suggested, and I kind of like that idea. If anyone could keep Gambit from becoming a cheeseball, it'd be him.

I see Kate Winslet as the White Queen.

I would have Val Kilmer play Darkman, although the Darkman movie was still pretty good, at least I think so.

I was thinking about this yesterday, I could see Jensen Ackles playing Hawkeye. He's got the stocky, not overly muscular physique to play Clint Barton, and his past roles show that he has the chops to play the attitude perfectly.

I think Hugh Laurie(House/Jeeves and Wooster) would make a great Joker. His brilliant comedy skills combined with his dramatic intensity would make him ideal for the role.

At least I think so anyway...

And he has those huge eyes that he could bug out and look all creepy with Joker paint on.
