COMMITTED TO HIS 'GIRLS.' East Tennessee's Matt Czuchry will be back this fall on the CW network's "Gilmore Girls," even though his character is being shipped off to Europe.
"I'm doing 15 (episodes) out of 22 this season," he told me recently.
Czuchry, whose family still lives in Johnson City, plays Logan, the blue-blood beau of Rory (Alexis Bledel).
At the end of last season, Logan took a job in England, resulting in a tearful split between him and Rory.
Not all comes together quickly for the estranged couple: Czuchry will only appear in brief scenes for the first two episodes.
"I'm just seen talking on the phone," he says.
But Czuchry suspects that Logan, whom he has played for three seasons, will be seen much more after that.
