I wish I had somewhere to post the sides - it almost sounds as if this dinner is Chris's idea - Rory and Lorelai give each other a tiny shrug, and a "what can you do?" look. Chris talking to Raj about a chalet in Killington, open floor plan resembling Rory's apartment - which Raj has never seen - and wanting to rent a place in Sugarloaf or Killington. In his enthusiasm, he's oblivious to the fact these people aren't a tight knit group. Almost seems as if he's trying to make up for the earlier scene when he realised he hadn't had the same fatherly experiences as the other dads. Don't shoot me, that's how it comes across.
