Like most of you, I was super hyped about this episode from all the build up we got in the last ep. I love angst so I wasn't as heartbroken about the elevator scene as most of you were. The way I see it, you can't have angst without real love. I was expecting lotsa tension, snark (a little more snarky and a little less flirty) and maybe even some hostility from Veronica. But what we got just baffled me. I mean, what happened last week was monumental. Veronica is not one to put herself out there when it comes love and for her to get her heart broken like that... just not the reaction I was expecting. If Veronica didn't mention the epic love story in the voice over, I wouldn't have known anything happened between them had I not seen the previous episode.

Thanks for the new thread.

So I thought Veronica would react more to what happened last week but I guess she decided to take it as a drunken confession which it was and not make a big deal out of it. That is why she would take her own confession as reading too much into Logan's one or expecting too much based on it. So she decided to play it cool and treat Logan the same way she has been for the past couple of weeks.

I think she thought she shouldn't make a big deal out of Kendall because Logan is a free man and they didn't make any promises to each other when he made his confession. In fact it was her who ran away.

As for Logan I think he took the cue from Veronica. When she didn't talk about what happened and didn't seem mad but said hi and smiled like everything was ok, he didn't go to her and try to explain his words or Kendall in fear that that would provoke her and shake their ok status.

I am actually thrilled with their scene in the last ep. First of all this is one of the rare times we got a VO regarding her thoughts on Logan. I liked that she brought up their epic love again, even if it was with a hint of scarsam. It means she's STILL thinking about it. Which I think is a good sign. Also, I was so damn scared that she'd go back to being cold Veronica from earlier this year and she didn't - also a good sign. We may have taken 2 steps back from where they could have been, but that's a lot better than 10 steps back.

I think it was MusicofNight07 who said maybe Logan will save her this time instead of Keith. I really, really hope so. This time, hopefully, she wouldn't be in trouble because of Logan so when he rescues her she can be nothing but grateful. That will help to form a stronger bond between them. I've got my fingers crossed for this senario.

I can't believe we only have one more ep. left. What are we going to do all summer?

Awkward LoVe moments are just not as fun as really snarky moments--so last night was sort of a letdown to me.
