A Topic for Discussion: John Slattery/Jennifer Westfeldt vs. Richard Burgi/Jennifer Slimko - Which ones were better as Michael/Leisha?

so honestly, i really hate it, when characters stay but the actors/actresses change. i see though that you couldn't cut Michael as Lauren's father out of the show. i'm still not sure why John Slattery wasn't available any longer - just because he had a recurring role on Ed? please...
i just remembered that i know Jennifer Westfeldt from the movie 'Kissing Jessica Stein'.
honestly i think Richard Burgi is a better choice for playing Michael since he looks more Amy's age than John Slattery. concerning the custody battle in season 4, it helped a lot for my imagination that Richard played a villian on '24'. [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]
i've never seen Jennifer Slimko in anything but 'Judging Amy'.

I like the younger looking Michael better. The older one just didn't seem right for Amy.

yeah - doesn't he? i think Richard Burgi looks more like he's her age which is important after all they are supposed to having meet at college.
