Deborah/Jonathan Appreciation - "Are you ready to stand by me?"

I guess that's the big question for their relationship when/if it unfolds. Apparently he likes being with her but his friends making fun of her being a "fattie" (Now seriously - what the hell? There're fatter people out there!) is adding to his nervousness. Do you think he'll get over it? It looked like it at the end of the pilot but is that really the end to it?

First off please, to me Kelly is not fat at all! But okay I'll go with it for the show. If he feels pressure I see there relationship being...

He likes her.
She likes him.
They kiss.
She thinks it will be all good.
He avoids her and kinda ignores the fact they kissed due to the fact he is nervous to date her due to his friends.
She gets mad.
He feels bad.
They kiss again.
They date.
Someone makes fun of him for liking her.
He get's mad and stands up for her.
They are happy - Till next season (if there is one.)

That is probaly bull but still I see it going along those lines, with more drama and romantic stuff of course but still. I saw a clip on-line and felt so drawn to them as a couple. It is the classic guy getting over what his friends think drama yet I hope Deb wouldn't take the crap lying down and stand up for herself.

I feel my shipper heart starting to like this couple already - As long as he isn't mean about her I will like them

Jonathon and Deborah are so sweet and cute together I can tell already that I will love this couple.

I don't think Kelly is fat at all.

I just watched the pilot and i love them together, I agree that Kelly is not fat. I'm like the same size as her and i think its good that they are showing a different relationship. I mean not all guys go out with skinny blondes. I think their relationship is wonderful.

I think they are very cute together! I wouldn't care what my friends say! They need to follow their hearts! I love them together! I'm so happy that he decided he wanted to be her boyfriend!

Not sure if they will last since they did sorta get together in the Pilot, but I loved them. Thought they were cute and the end was so sweet.

I loved them in this episode. The scene where he gives her flowers and she kisses him was so cute. And of course Jon's hand slap with Ben while he was kissing her made me laugh.

I know! Kelly Osbourne just has curves, and she's a really talented girl. I just hope they don't continue to mention her being "fat" like 5 times every episode. It's kind of annoying.

I agree! Kelly is definitely not fat and they shouldn't mention it all the time.
