WHEN YOU GOT TO GO, YOU GOT TO GO When Ed is Kidnapped, Danny and Mike race against time to find him -- Duran Duran Guest Stars-- When Ed (James Caan) is kidnapped, Danny (Josh Duhamel) and Mike (James Lesure) begin a frantic search of the city to find him. The fact that Ed refuses to let them contact autorities or pay the kidnapper's ransom only makes their search more difficult. Sam (Vanessa Marcil) arranges a Vegas-style wedding for one of her clients, but it comes to a screeching halt when their lucky rings are lost. Elsewhere, Mary (Nikki Cox) and Delinda (Molly Sims) collaborate when the Montecito hosts a popular 80's rock band (Duran-Duran). Marsha Thomason also stars. TV-14

This was a really good episode. I knew the guy was dyslexic right off the bat when he signed his name Brain and then taps. Sylvester Stallone's apperance didn't make much sense. Okay, so he was in the same Special Ops as Ed, but not really much to his apperance.

you won't believe what happened to me. There was about 25 minutes left in the episode, Danny is about to have a revelation about where Ed might be and what happens! My power goes out . It was out for about 45 minutes, I missed the ending of LV! My friend told me what happened but it was no way sufficient. She said that at the end Danny and Mary have a drink and Danny spits his out. Why?

I was so excited that there was finally a new episode and I fell asleep. Figures. And I heard that it was a good episode, which makes this even worse. And there was a Danny/Mary scene. Of course I would miss it.

hey all, it's been a while since i've been on here but i just love las vegas and danny and mary. ok so you guys asked for a synopsis so here you go.

well first off duran duran is the major performance this week and mary is in charge of the concert of course. basically it goes like this.

intro:

sam is at a blackjack table w/ a whale and his girlfriend. she gave him a cloda ring ( u know w/ the heart and crown)and the both each wear it and he believes it brings him gambling luck. they are about to get married and she's working on him to get married as soon as possible in las vegas. then we swoosh to the bela sara bar and nessa, mike, mary, delinda, and danny are are hanging out, having a good time drinking and chatting. nessa says she doesn't understand what the I "heart" (actual heart) duran duran signs are all about all over the casino and mary explains "it's a natural progression to the whole i love thing" and as she says love she looks at a danny. danny then says yeah like I heart duran duran or something like that and nessa says she thinks it's stupid and annoying and danny jokes that that is why they will all keep saying it. then mike says yeah like i heart a big butt and danny says i heart another drink and delinda says i heart it too i think it's cute. then nessa says i think the reason you both like it is because of the whole duran duran thing and points at both mary and danny. they look at each other and kinda go uhhhh because they both don't want to talk about it and danny says yeah i hear their new album is really good and mary says yeah i heard that too and then the gang teases them about hearing about a duran duran concert w/ some hooking up in the end they've all heard about and nessa is like i heart to hear about it and delinda says me too and danny jokes back in an english accent " i heart to hear about it or something" avoiding the conversation and they all laugh. then ed comes up and says good night, spots sylvester stallone and tells danny to comp everything for him and danny is like who is he and ed says his repair man.

then ed goes out to his car and as he gets into his red hummer he gets knocked out and kidnapped. the kidnapper takes him to a construction site and throws him in a bathtub and handcuffs him to it. calls danny while he's sleeping at his place and demands money and more instructions to follow. then throughout the episode mike and danny try to track down ed and the kidnapper and mike is like why don't we call the police and danny says that ed always instructed him to never contact the police or pay up if he got kidnapped cuz otherwise in the future more people would try to kidnap him. so they try to figure out who the killer is, enlist nessa's help thinking it's someone who lost big cuz the kidnapper wants $213,000 and that's such an odd and specific amount. nessa gives them the address of someone in her black book so to speak who did lose $213,000 cuz danny and mike can't find it in the casino database and they know nessa has some info that isn't in the books. at this point no one knows besides the guys that he's kidnapped and actually no one ever finds out about it as they don't want to alarm anyone.

then when the guys go to stake out the person who lose the money thinking he's the kidnapper they are in danny's car ona stakeout waiting for him to come home and danny is playing the duran duran song "what happens tomorrow" and mike asks is that the new duran duran and danny says yeah so? mike says so are you gonna tell me what happened in high school and danny says nope, come on man we're on a stake out. and then mike says. i'm not joe stakeout didn't know we couldn't make conversation. and then we flash to the mystic and mary and delinda preparing for the duran duran show. and delinda asking mary what happened and mary saying we swore we would never discuss it and then flash back to danny and mike. this flashing back and forth goes on and on and is a very cute he said she said kinda moment. basically danny's story is that senior year he gets tickets to duran duran and they decide that it will be their first time doing it. they go to a liquor store and danny pays an old man to buy them a bottle of peppermint schnapps and at the concert mary proceeds to drink the whole thing cuz she's nervous and then throw up on danny's air jordans and he has to take care of her and get her back home and into his car etc. in the car she professes loving him forever etc and tries to take her clothes off and he just puts her to bed and nothing happens cuz she's drunk. mary's story is that danny is so nervous and has such performance anxiety so to speak and they break into her father's liquor cabinet and at the concert he proceeds to drink the entire bottle and throw up on her white cowboy boots. then she takes care of him and gets him home and he's professing his love and in the middle of the night tries to sleep w/ her but nothing happens. in the morning they both swear to never discuss it again. both danny and mary swear mike and delinda to secrecy.

then eventually danny decides they have no choice but to pay up and they deliver the randsom to a specific spot and the kidnapper gets away on his motorcycle knocking danny down and snatching the bag of money. after 6 hrs of no word mike and danny think they screwed up and ed is dead. then danny realizes that this picture ed sent through his camera phone at one point has a clue which is that this bidet 960 toilet only made in korea and that has to be special ordered has to be where ed is and mike tracks down the location by calling korea in the middle of the night pretending to be the owner who never got his toilet and he's speaking korean to danny's surprise and mike says he'll explain it later. then mike and danny find ed just as he's about to drown in the tub after the kidnapper knocked him out and turned on the water.

back at the montecito everyone is cleaned up and ed is like just go enjoy the concert we'll deal w/ this later and find the kidnapper. at the concert danny is dancing w/ nessa and mike and across the floor mary is dancing by the bar w/ delinda. then a waitress comes up to danny and hands him a shot saying this is from the lady and danny looks and it's from mary who's smiling and says hi. then a waitress comes up to mary and says this is from the gentleman ( both mary and danny sent peppermint schnapps to eachother) both of them smile and raise their glasses in toast and shoot down the drink but danny spits his out indicating that he's the one who got drunk and can't handle schapps anymore and mary's story was the right one ( awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!! ) then they both smile at eachother and start dancing.

meanwhile ed is at the bar, see's the faucets at the bar and realizes that the guy was a construction worker on the bela sara bar who was fired and pieces things together and finds him. goes to his apartment and they fight. ed has promised him he would kill him if he ever found him. then basically it's flashes back and fort to the gang dancing and ed and the guy fighting. at this point the gang is all together w/ sam and they are all dancing w/ danny dancing behind mary and at ont point mary and danny joke around and mary is laughing hysterically. ed then as he's about to kill the guy sees a picture of his daughter on the nightstand and decides to spare him and knocks him out. basically the construction guys lost his job, was being paid $71.000 a year and wanted pay back for being fired for 3 years which adds up to $213,000. because of losing his job etc he lost his daughter or something like that. all those clues are thrown in throughout the episode.

oh and also sam's throughout the episode is dealing w/ the couple who go w/ sam to a chapel to get married, dueling elvises who both wanted the couples business at city hall end up fighting at the ceremony cuz one elvis got the job the other crashes to try to get the job and then we find out the elvises are married and about to divorce. sam reunites them to get back the rings cuz they were lost in the fight and the man won't give it back and the whale won't get married w/o his lucky gambling and everything rings. in the end they do get married.

this was a really cute episode and the danny and mary stuff was great. definitely not over between those too. seems more like mary ended the engagment knowing the time wasn't right and danny had issues to work through but they are on good terms and there is still a lot of love between them and they will at some point find their way back to eachother.

oh your totally welcome. i'll do it anytime. i never miss an episode or i record it so i'll check back regularly to see if anyone has missed it. my fingers were getting a little tight but well worth it heehee to keep us fans all informed.

yeah the mary and danny scenes were really really cute and mary looked beautiful in the episode. really classy, pretty than i've ever seen her. it also seemed like the gang was pulling for them to get back together and that it's just definitely not over. they have so much history and it's always fun finding out new info. it rocked too when i realized that mary's story was the right one cuz then even in high school he told mary he loved her heehee!!!
