There's actually life outside of JA, whether we admit it or not.

Thanks for your thoughts. I'm in Texas, but I'm hoping that it won't reach this far. I feel for those in south Texas though. I'm glad Brownsville, South Padre and areas like that are several hours away.

That has to be so scary with the hurricane so close

I am in Ohio and we get storms and flooding and power outages from every hurricane.
You mean there are other things to do at night besides pretending we are Amy,Maxine and Kyle and Lauren and Donna and Bruce?

I'm just curios. Does any return to school/college this month or next month? This is the first time in seven years that I won't be preparing to go back to college since I've already graduated. It seems strange that everyone is going back except me. Not that I mind.

This spring was the first semester I didn't have to return, and this is the first fall that I don't have to retun.

Not me---------I was studying to be a vet,then hurt my back and neck last year,so I couldn't continue as I can't do the lifting or work the long hours that a vet does

Did you go to college for 7 yrs?

I went to college for 6 & 1/2 years (August 1998-December 2004)
I was in college for so long because I switched majors twice.
I went from a major in Elementary Education to Social Work to Child Development & Family Living.

I'm sorry you hurt your heck and back and aren't able to work as a vet like you wanted to.

That is why I was so concerned about your neck,because my right arm is numb and tingly.

I'm goin back to school at the end of this month too! Kinda ready to go back, kinda not. But I'm sooooooo bored a lot of the time it would be good for me to have something to do!

Gosh yeah. It's so weird to look for 'Gilmore Girls' but not to look for 'Judging Amy' at the same time.

I'm just thinking, maybe I should quit TV altogether.

Yeah! I was all excited because it was Tuesday and usually I have my two shows too look forward too. But now I only have my Gilmore girls.
