Tales from the Crypt (1989)
This thread is for the show that was released on air back in 1989, the first eppy was called " The man who was death". I just got the dvd and wanted to make a thread and talk about this show with others who were a fan of it, hopefully someone is . I love the Crypt keeper, he was funny and the opening always give me chills but I love the theme song. So was anyone else a fan of this show? |

Wow, I used to love this show. I loved how so many random actors (good ones, even) had cameos. Such strange, twisted stories. Like this one where this guy goes to a masquerade/costume party and meets a woman. He brings her back to his place, they do it, but she keeps her mask on the whole time. He reaches down to pull her mask off and realizes it's not a mask. It's her actual face. Then I think she kills him. So bizarre! Yet great.

I don't have Cingular, but I visit that site when I'm bored and listen to all the cool theme songs.

I love this show. From the opening song, to the cryptkeeper, to the twisted epsiodes. I'll never look at Richard Tohmas (sp?) the same way as when I saw the episode with him in it. Does anybody remember it? It was where Richard Tohmas (the guy from The Waltons with the mole, he was also in the movie It) played a doctor who killed his wife, and some girl was outside on the balcony during her engagement party and witnessed it. Not only that but he saw that she witnessed it and she fainted and because of that, people called a doctor who turned out to be him! And I don't know much of what happened after that because he was so convincingly creepy that I turned it off. Now I always get the creeps when I see him in other shows which is funny because he's really quiet and nice and even has a show on PAX called It's A Miracle.
