Cranny Myths

Cranny was all about physical attraction.

Lots of ppl are under the impression that craig only liked manny in season 3 because of her change of attire. we ****s beg to differ. In season 2 craig liksd manny in GJWHF, and episode where manny was not revealing any underwear nor wearing extensive make up. This was at a time that manny santos was cute little insignifcant manny that none of the guys noticed. Jt and Sully both did not really care for manny until her change of attire and spinner made it clear that he woulnt have even looked at manny if it wasnt for her change of attire. Remember when manny asked spaige the question about whether a guy like sully would be interested in her? spin responded, "in you?" basically saying that manny wouldnt be able to get a popular/hott guy with the way she was dressed at the time. Craig was none of these ppl, he liked her at a time where she wasnt too noticeable and he even called her beauitful in TMBA when she was still cute & adorable manny.

Cranny was all about sex.

i think this is one of the most ridiculous myths of all because for one, in order to be all about sex you have to be constantly having sex----in which cranny werent. They had sex ONCE, they might have tried o have sex in AAO but after that sex was unheard of in their relaionship. Craig also made it clear that he liked manny, thats why he said, "manny's not sweet, caring, talented, fun, just hot?" pretty much asking spin why did spin only think thats all there is to manny because he saw more. He even contemplated leaving a long term relationship with ashley for a short term relationship with manny.

Manny stalked Craig
This is such a ridiculous statement that it almost doesn't warrent being put in the myths section. But it's been said enough by some anti-Cranny fans. Stalking is very serious business. It involves obsession, power and control, and an unhealthy need to constantly be around a certain person, like persistant following. Manny did none of this. She pursued Craig, which is a huge difference. Manny saw Craig as someone she wanted to be with and she went after him the exact same way a guy pursues a girl. She did not obsess over Craig or try to be around him all the time. If you want to say Manny pursuing a guy is 'stalking', then why is Craig not in the wrong for following Manny to the rave in AAO and watching her, for going after her in Holiday at least twice, for taking incriminating photos of Manny in AILMH, etc.? Craig engaged in the exact same behavior because he too at the time was trying to pursue Manny (the exception possibly being AILMH). Manny being a girl does not make her a stalker and it's irrelevant that Craig was in a relationship with Ashley when Manny pursued Craig. That still does not mean that she stalked him. Again, stalking is serious business and it's not right to falsely accuse someone of it just because you dislike when a girl pursues a guy with a girlfriend.

See, I KNEW that was what craig meant by "no distractions". It even says it in his descritpion that craig swears of all girls till his passion for manny returns. I knew it was going to be an instance where craig wasnt tryna get involved with anyone again until manny comes back into his life.

....of course the chokers thought it meant that he wasnt going to take his relationship with manny seriously

like tasha once said, cranny will be able to have a relatiosnhip this season that crash NEVER had: not overdramatized, no unnecessarily fights, just falling into love. I like how cassie steele said in her IM interview that manny has gotten a lot more jaded this season so i assume that the cranny relationship helped both craig and manny tame it down a bit.

EDIT: hmmm, does anyone think that maybe because there was no confirmation of a cranny break up that that can mean that they DONT break up in 513?

no i meant as in attitude. cranny will always be hott but i dont think they'll be as crazy as they were before, maturity and detremental situations influence a change in behavior. thats why cranny wont have much drama.

i think the only drama will see for manny this season is between her and emma. i dont think manny finds out about Pemma in 515/516, i think prob later on in the season. if this isnt the last season, a great s5 cliff-hanger would be other than the seniors graduating, to have manny finally find out about emma and peter. emma/manny have a HUGE blow out, manny decides to move out....has no where to go so she moves to Vancouver to be with her significant other. Of course, this is just wishful thinking.

I don't know why everyone speculated that they were going to break up to begin with. It didn't say anything about them breaking up, just that Craig is leaving. And considering that there's only going to be probably 2 episodes with them as a main storyline, it wouldn't really make sense if they broke up so soon after getting back together. It also gives us something to look foward to when Craig does come back to town.

I'm not even expecting a Cranny kiss in 505 to tell you the truth. It's going to be weird when they do kiss, I'm so used to the Crash kisses by now.
