I was sort of interested in this film because I'm a huge Jack Black fan (with the major exception of the movie about the overweight girl), but then I saw an ad for it the other night and it's now a 'must see.' Jack Black was hilarious in the ad!

Anyone else excited for this film?

I saw a trailer for this on tv last night, I loved the part where he is standing in the room and that kid is watching him and he goes "When you are a man, sometimes you will wear stretchy pants in your room. Its for fun."

You know, I still remember him vividly from his first film role - he stole every scene he was in from people like Tim Robbins, and the like - Bob Roberts. The guy's amazing and very underrated (could be some of the crap movies he's in, though).

That's what people forget - he started off as a serious actor and is really quite talented, not just comedic...but his comedic roles shouldn't be put off, either (High Fidelity, anyone? Stole every scene - AGAIN).
