Click (2006) #1

Plot

"Click" focuses on a workaholic architect who finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices

Trailer

I personally am looking forward to this movie. I will probably wait until it either hits the cheap theater by my house or until it comes out on DVD, but I like Adam Sandler.

Anyone else planning on seeing it?

It doesn't look very funny to me, but I also like Adam Sandler so I think I'll be catching the DVD. It's nice to see that Adam Sandler is finally growing up a bit in his movies. He's starting to play the father type in his films instead of the big kid who never grew up. Thank goodness he realized that he couldn't do potty humor forever.

I'm seeing it, huge Sandler fan here! I own all his movies, and this looks like another touching/hilarious one like Big Daddy.

I'm not sure - I don't care for his comedies (they're idiotic), but I LOVE his dramas/dramedies. I think I'll wait to see what you all think of it, although I like the concept.

I agree, Anji. I think he is good with dramatic stuff as well as comedy. Adam usually cracks me up in almost all his films so Im sure I will get a few good laughs out of this movie as well.

I completely agree.

Jenny - you like his comedies? Which ones? *waits to cringe*

Being the massive Sandler fan I am, I do own all his movies, and like them, though some are kinda stupid.......though I always like him. But I loved him especially in Punch-Drunk Love and Spanglish. But seriously PDL was just amazing! He needs to do more movies like that.

From what I've read, they are saying this is the most emotionally touching of his Happy Madison movies.......they even mention a bit of a Big Daddy feel. So, I'm hoping it does have some serious moments too, that aren't just for laughs.

Okay, I'm with both of you except for Big Daddy, which so offended me I couldn't sit through it.

However - since I LOVED all the others, maybe I'll give it another chance...and this one, too?

What made Big Daddy offend you, Shrr?

The comedies he's done that I really like are:

Mixed Nuts
Happy Gilmore
Bulletproof
The Wedding Singer
Big Daddy
Mr. Deeds
Anger Managment
50 First Dates
The Longest Yard

And as I mentioned before, I really liked Spanglish (At least all the parts with him, and not the parts with Tea Leoni-not a fan of hers.), and I simply loved Punch-Drunk Love. (My friend loves The Waterboy and Little Nicky, the first was okay for me, not a huge fan of the second one.)

I think I will really enjoy Click too..........and his next one after that this another drama, which I'm looking forward to.

Yeah, what offended you about it?

I love Adam Sandler movies, so I'm pretty excited for this one too. I don't think it looks that bad, it looks funny. And like someone said, I'm pretty glad he's playing more of an adult role instead of the adult goof off like usual.

I'm not a big fan of him, but I like Kate Beckinsale too. So knowing me I'll waste my money and see it.
