I didn't see any thread for this on the movie list, but if it has one before please close this one out...
Plot: Ruminations on the life of Bob Dylan, where seven characters embody a different aspect of the musician's life and work. Cast of characters (although still subject to change) Christian Bale Cate Blanchett Charlotte Gainsbourg Richard Gere Heath Ledger Julianne Moore Ben Whishaw Michelle Williams Wow! This film's star studded. Now, I'm beginning to be interested in Bob Dylan. I dunno who he is, honestly. I heard his name but never got interested in checking his music or stuff before. Anyone got more news on this? I hear Cate is supposed to play Bob Dylan, too. Info on IMDB __________________

Yeah. I was awec when I first checked on the stars. And there's supposedly 6 or 7 (I'm not really sure) actors set to play Bob. I know Christian, Heath and Cate will all do.

 two good looking and talented actors in one film? Aw, c'mon. I'm all up for that.  Besides, I miss Heath already. It has been a while since I last saw him in a film (Casanova). __________________

I have never agknowledged Bod Dylan.. nor have i ever listened to any of his songs. But I think I will see this movie just b/c Heath is in it.

Im very excited for this movie, because Im a fan of Bob Dylan. Plus the casting sounds great

I think Heath is perfect for playing Bob Dylan. He has showed that he can act.

Ahh this one.
I've never listened to Bob Dylan's work before, mainly because I'm not really into that genre of music. But the movie sounds interesting. I'll have to wait for a trailer before making any judgments. Oh, apparently, the actors aren't Bob Dylan. Rather, they're playing "various incarnations" of Dylan. More info from this article. As for the people who want Bale and Ledger on screen together, look for them summer 2008 in The Dark Knight [the sequel to last year's Batman Begins]. |
