I'm a huge Death Cab fan. Seriously, Death Cab = my life.
I saw them back in October and they blew me away. They are even better live than on record. ITA with you Shaena about Transatlanticism. Their best record by far. __________________

I love Transatlanticism/Photo Album equally. I liked Plans, but after Transatlanticism/Photo Album, it was a little bit disappointing.

Exactly. Plans I don't think matched Trans or Photo Album at all. I mean I love it, but I would much rather pick those two anyday.

The Sound of Settling is one of my favorite songs in the whole wide world. I have to listen to that song at least once a day. That's how I'm obsessed with it. It's just so melancholic and beautiful.
And I totally agree with Transatlanticism |

Oh wow, this has got to be one of the hardest questions ever. But the ones I can listen to over and over again are:
Song for Kelly Huckaby Expo '86 Blacking Out the Friction Your Heart is an Empty Room A Lack of Color and a bazillion more. Any Death Cab song is just amazing. __________________

Hooray, I was listening to Death Cab a while back and I was thinking of setting up the thread myself! I haven't heard all of Death Cab, but I do know a fair few - most of the tracks off Transatlanticism, Plans, and a few off The Photo Album and then a few more here and there. You're right, Transatlanticism is the album, I was disappointed by Plans.
My top five songs (note, I don't know all their songs so I can't really say, but anyway here goes) Passenger Seat - the song is just so amazing, the lyrics are incredible as well. Title And Registration A Movie Script Ending Death of an Interior Decorator - I'm not sure what comes after this, but right now it's: The Sound Of Settling __________________

I think Photobooth and 405 (acoustic) are my favorite Death Cab songs. I never seem to get tired of listening to those tracks.

Ugh, I was going to come back here and change The Sound Of Settling (such an addictive song, though, the ba ba ba ba part) to Photobooth on the sly but someone's posted after me I like both songs though. Like I said...it gets hard after the top 4

They are soo good live. The way Ben rocks back and forth with his guitar. He is spectacular.

The Sound of Settling is pretty damn addictive. It's pretty hard picking favorites, which is why I only chose two. After Photobooth/405, there's just a whole big list where I feel like I can't quite narrow it down.
How about least favorite Death Cab songs? I don't even know if "Flustered/Hey Tomcat!" can be counted as an actual song. But it's really the only Death Cab track that I actively dislike. __________________

Hah, I've never even heard of that song, nouvelle jeux.
I know I'd probably get shot for this, but I'm not to keen on Technicolor Girls for some reason.. __________________

It's from "You Can Play These Songs With Chords", which is a compilation of their early demos that were released on casette. It's very rough, and a lot of people don't like it, but I've got a soft spot for it. __________________
